Youtuber Ohara the Fox reached out to me on Twitter/X and asked if I would be interested in editing a video for a new lifestyle channel he was starting. He had traveled to Japan to meet up with fellow Youtuber Dogen and wanted to share the story. He was looking for a documentary editor to take the focus on story up a notch, and I was definitely interested.

Ohara had one long interview with Dogan, a collection of b-roll from his travels, and a direct-to-camera presenter portion based on his script. Using his outline, I edited the footage together and create motion graphics to show his travels and keep the interview engaging.

The result was a fun, energy-filled tour of Japan that gained over 10,000 views in 1 week.
